"Hip-shaking King Creole."Oct 20, 2002
By Josh P. "King Creole" is right up there with "Loving You" Again, watch the movie first, then hear the teriffic music. You're going to love both. The main title theme starts off the soundtrack. High-energy tracks. They include "King Creole", "As Long As I Have You", "Hard Headed Woman", "Dixieland Rock", "Young Dreams", and more. This is a teriffic Elvis soundtrack reissue. The only flaw with this is even with more tracks it is still too short. Heck, I listened to it several dozen times, and I'm satisfied. What RCA can retrieve from the vaults, is what we get. We need more reviews on Elvis' music and his movies, PLEASE! It goes to show you how little he's appreciated in some areas.

He plays something evil and he plays something sweetJan 29, 2004

This is the soundtrack to Elvis' fourth (and arguably best) movie. It features Elvis at the top of his game, singing great songs like "King Creole", "Hard Headed Woman" and "Trouble". This soundtrack was the first time Elvis worked with a horn section. This CD adds seven bonus tracks to the original album. I highly recommend it.

One of the best Elvis soundtracksDec 27, 2000
"King Creole" is a must for Elvis fans everywhere. I love the cover photo with him in that outfit. RCA and BMG really did an excellent job on remaking some of Elvis' career albums, and adding new songs on them. On "King Creole" all of the extra tracks except one had never released before! Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie, is trying to get RCA and BMG to take all of the unreleased takes and songs out of the RCA vaults and release them all. I hope she succeeds. Right now, Follow That Dream records and RCA have relaesed six new CDs where everything is previously unreleased material. On track 16 of "King Creole" Elvis talks before he begins singing "Steadfast, Loyal, and True". He says "On the first part, the tempo? A little? Yeah? Really? Huh?" and after a second the music begins. You must own this if you are an Elvis fan!

One of the best Rock albums of all time!Aug 28, 1999
Presley really shows a great range in style with this album. The soundtrack is the best of his career and one of the best Rock albums ever produced. A must for Rock fans!

I loved this film when I first saw it...I was only 10 at the time and I learned all the words to every song back then and remember them now at age 58
The CD is wonderful...good sound, clear and just plain lovely..
